CANBERRA — Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has condemned Melbourne’s controversial “Ditch The Witch” billboards as a sexist attack on women, despite still being unable to explain exactly what a woman is.

“The point is that whatever a woman turns out to be, we need to protect it,” Albanese told reporters.

Critics accused the Prime Minister of throwing stones from a glass house, pointing to his previous “smash her” comments about a female MP and his description of Pauline Hanson as a “dark force.”

Pauline Hanson has also been accused of being sexist after telling Jacinta Allan to “suck it up” following decades of abuse directed at her by Labor politicians, activists and the media.

Following the backlash, organisers reportedly agreed to change the slogan to “Ditch The Bitch” and replace Jacinta Allan’s image with a poodle.

However, the Victorian Premier is now said to be considering legal action over the striking resemblance between herself and the dog.

At the time of publication, the Victorian Government had launched a review into whether witches, bitches and poodles should all be considered protected identities.
