The AFL has been rocked by yet another scandal, with 59-year-old Adelaide supporter Colleen at the centre of a racism controversy after being spotted dressed as a crow.
The Race Discrimination Commissioner has proposed tougher regulations on certain dark-coloured animal costumes, while authorities investigate Colleen’s possible links to One Nation.
The furry community has since accused the Commissioner of species discrimination, while Mitch Brown has suggested replacing Adelaide’s “problematic” Crow with a more inclusive rainbow-coloured bird.
The Commissioner has reassured the Sydney cheer squad that dressing as a white swan remains perfectly acceptable.
