The ‘tolerant’ Left has unveiled its bold new strategy for defeating One Nation: threaten with murder and hope nobody notices the irony.
Graffiti reading “KILL PAULINE HANSON” has appeared in Bendigo, with Hanson accusing inflammatory political rhetoric of pouring fuel on an already heated environment.
Speaking at the Queensland Labor State Conference yesterday, Albanese described One Nation as “hard-right populists” and “dangerous, divisive and downright dishonest” and declared Labor as “the most transparent party in history”.and doing a “super awesome job”.
This came just a day after One Nation won Labor’s former stronghold of Secret Harbour.
Hanson has warned that Australia should be wary of the political violence seen overseas, pointing to incidents including the killing of conservative commentator Charlie Kirk and the murder of UK politician Ann Widdecombe, the shooting of insurance guy and Donald Trumps right ear.
Albanese has called for the political temperature to come down.
