A socialist protester who allegedly yelled “Die Pauline” outside a One Nation event has reportedly been offered a job at the ABC, after producers praised his “calm temperament and strong Q+A energy.”
The man has not yet accepted the role, with insiders saying he may prefer his current arrangement on the GetUp payroll, welfare benefits, and occasional casual work accusing pensioners of fascism.
The protest saw pro-Palestine groups, socialists and Greens supporters unite to bravely oppose One Nation holding a fundraiser.
Asked about the protest, the Prime Minister said there were “good people on all sides,” before clarifying he meant “all sides of the protest.”
The ABC has denied bias, saying the man wasn’t hired because he yelled “Die Pauline,” but because he already had the correct opinions.
